Recently, the Ministry of Civil Affairs announced the outcome of 2023 national evaluation of social organizations, among which the China Confucius Foundation was rated as a 4A-level foundation. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism commended the China Confucius Foundationinthe Circular on the Praise of 4A and 3A Social Organizations.

The China Confucius Foundation is a national cultural and academic foundation approved by the CPC Central Committee in 1984, registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and jointly administered by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Shandong Province. Over the years, the China Confucius Foundation has undertaken the important mission of inheriting and carrying forward fine traditional Chinese culture, raised extensivesocial funds, innovated and implemented a series of signature cultural projects, playinga positive role in promoting public cultural undertakings .

The China Confucius Foundation will take the awarding of the National 4A-level Foundation as a new starting point, continue to strengthen political awareness, further improve its institutional system and corporate governance structure, forge and train qualified personnel, with an aim to build itselfe into a first-class social organization in China that constantly upgrade all its undertakings and make new achievements in the new era.
